Sculpture in stone, wood, bronze, clay, ice and any materials I can get my hands or tools on. Working 3 dimensionally is a blissful experience for me. I enjoy revealing the figure within or creating the form from nothing.

I am traveling the country and the world these days painting in many a top plein Air event usually seeking the exotic and beautiful. Some days I paint the usual and mundane. Some were practice pieces or studies, some exercises in painting on cloudy days. This collection of plein air pieces painted in my hometown over the course of the last 30 yrs.  I am showing them for the month of May 2013 at my local library. The nuance of everyday places, often taken for granted, captured in paint can raise awareness about what we overlook but appreciate. This collection will come off this site after May and a few will be added to other portfolios. Enjoy the stroll down a Hicksville, NY,  memory Lane.
